Want to know why God made you that way? No, really. God has a plan for you. And his plan is the best! Take this four week class from Dr. John Jackson, our new Executive Pastor and the Executive Director of Thriving Churches International, and you will learn:
- What spiritual gifts are…
- Why God gave you what He did…
- How God expects you to use your gifts…
- When you can get started unwrapping your gifts…
Dr. John is looking forward to seeing how God’s gifts can be released in you!
Looking for something to do before or after this event? Check out the Bayside Cafe and Bookstore conveniently located on the main Bayside Campus. The Bayside Cafe and Bookstore is open everyday from 7AM to 8PM. On Thursdays the Cafe is until 10pm and features live music.

This is the next class for me however I would miss 2 of the weeks due to work. Should I still sign up or wait until the next time it is offered.

Hi! Its up to you. It does come with a book that John wrote so you could follow along by keeping up with the reading. (Its a great read…broken into 40 days worth with study questions in the back.) I still think it would be worth your while to attend the class. John is a gifted speaker/teacher! God bless you– Mariann

Unfortunately, there is no children’s ministry provided for this class. There are regularly scheduled Wednesday night programs for 5/6th graders through Senior High.
Although I am working within the Community Care ministry now, I am very interested to hear from John all about other gifts that I might have and how I may use them to serve God.
You are right Danielle. This is a class that is going to help you learn about God’s plan for you and how you are wired.

Lately we’ve been offering our core classes in groups all on the same day. The natural progression is 101, 201, 301, and then 401. Some of the core classes also have breakout sessions, which are stand-alone. So, all that to say, sign-up and come join us for “Finding Your Place in God’s Plan.” Hope to see you there tomorrow night!
Tried to sign up for spiritual gifts classes in March but that was not one of the options to select. Please sign me up.

I’m sorry you had a tough time finding the spiritual gifts class. You did find it though – 301 Breakout is the spiritual gifts class. Just click on the link near the top of this page that says “Click here to register.” Otherwise, walk-ins are welcome for the session as well. Hope you can join us!
If I am unable to attend the first meeting, will I be able to get the book at the second meeting?

I am interested in attending this seminar, I was wondering if it was required to attend the first 2 though, do they build upon each other? Thank you

The sessions do build on each other and the first two will provide a basis for what will be discussed in the following weeks. We do hope to make this class available again with our next round of Core Classes. We don’t have those dates firmed up yet, but check the website. Hope to see you at a future class! Have a great day.
I see that the class starts at 7:00pm, but there is no mention of what time the class ends. What time will the class end each night?

The class runs until about 8:15 pm each night. Hope you can join us!
The class was great last night. I’ll for sure be there for the remainder of the series this month. Is the cost of the class $10 each meet? Or is it just $10 for the entire course?
