Community Care

As our name implies, the ministry of Community Care is about caring for people in our Bayside family. Every day we have the awesome privilege of speaking God’s message of grace and truth into the lives of hurting people. We are God’s messengers of hope and encouragement, and even though the task is very challenging it is also very rewarding. The Lord has specifically called some of us to a vocational care ministry assignment – and I have the privilege of serving with an awesome team of staff and volunteers. Together we have seen God do some amazing things in the lives of people. Check out this letter from a single mom: cartwheel

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your ministry in my life! It’s hard to use mere words to explain how grateful I have been. The past several months have been extremely stressful for me and my family, and it felt so good to finally breath a sigh of relief thanks to the ministry of Community Care…Instead of leaving church in a zombie-like state, we leave wanting to do cartwheels, run a few marathons, and shout out the glory of God from every roof top!”  And then she adds, “Wow, what a difference a single church can make!”

Isn’t that a great story? This is just one of hundreds of life changing stories happening through Community Care.  If God is possibly calling you to come along-side others and help make a difference in their lives, contact me.
