Our “Coram Deo” series will feel a bit different than traditional Thursday nights with some new and creative elements to services, and with “more rock, less talk.” Come with a spirit of expectation as we prepare to engage in praising God with our worship team as well as with guest artists.

Apologetics Seminar

Join us on August 27th and 28th for an Apologetics Seminar featuring nationally renowned speakers, Dr. J.P. Moreland and Dr. William Lane Craig of Biola University. Let’s go ahead and answer the question running through most of our minds, “What is Apologetics, anyway?” It’s the branch of theology focused on defending or proving the truth of Christian doctrines. This seminar is designed to help you understand why we believe what we believe as Christians. Over the course of these two days, you’ll find answers to some of today’s most commonly asked questions about the Christian faith: How do I know God exists? Did Jesus really live? Who can believe in the resurrection? Hasn’t science disproved Christianity? We all have questions, and we all crave answers. Come be reassured that Christianity is a reasonable faith!

Did you know that Bayside has a ministry designed to serve families and individuals with special needs? We’ve designed Through the Roof to assist families with children who have special needs as a result of physical, developmental, or cognitive challenges. Every first Friday of the month, FridayNite KidzKlub and TeenzKlub provide opportunities for parents to have a date night, while qualified volunteers care for your children and teenagers. Reservations are required. The next FridayNite will be May 7 from 6:15-9:15 pm. Learn more

The Shore Summer Warmup 2010

Our third annual Summer Warmup is going to be a killer way to kick off summer 2010! If you’ve been to the previous Summer Warmup events, you know we’ll have free BBQ, prizes, tons of stuff to do, and some special surprises to kick off the worship service.

This year’s SWU is going to be our grand finale to our “Stories” series, so Robi Quick is going to share his life story, and we’ll hear other testimonies as well. This year, we’re going deep into a powerful and potentially dangerous message. It’ll be a great night to bring a friend.

Don’t forget to come a bit early (7ish) to get some free BBQ! See you there!

LOVE MONTH IS BACK. This year, our annual February relationships series has plenty in store to be excited about. We’ve got quite the lineup of speakers this year, including Dr. Bev Wiens and actress Brenda Epperson.

Dr. Bev is the chair of the Psychology Department at William Jessup University, and Brenda Epperson is known as “Ashley” from The Young and the Restless. Brenda is also a recording artist, and has toured with Lionel Richie. Along with John Harris and David Harris, they’re sure to make quite the case for healthy relationships.

The Shore Christmas Party 2009

The Shore Christmas Party is back this year, and we’re super excited about it! We’re in the same great location (less than 15 mins from Bayside of Granite Bay) and we’re expecting to have a really, really good time.

The Shore Turns 2!

The Shore is almost 2 years old! We’re having a birthday party at the Shore on Thursday, October 15th. Make sure you come hungry, arrive early, grab some food, and celebrate with us!

We’ll be having Oktoberfest-type activities (the non-alcoholic kind) so be ready to chug some root beer and celebrate this lovely fall season.

The Shore Fall Retreat 2009: “Rumors.”

Fall Retreat is finally back! the Shore is prepping for our third (and best ever) retreat: “Rumors.” Glenn Packiam from The Desperation Band is our speaker this year, and will be teaching material from his new book: “Secondhand Jesus: Trading Rumors of God for a Firsthand Faith.” Glenn will address faith from a perspective that gives us ownership, rather than letting secondhand ideas and rumors govern us.

We will be going to the Santa Cruz Mountains (Redwood Christian Park) on the weekend of October 2-4.

Price: $189

We hope you’re as stoked as we are to come hang out, meet new people, get some beach time, and engage in passionate worship and relevant teaching. Space is limited, so make sure you get your deposits in quickly!
