This July, we’re diving into our five week worship series at the Shore. Our “Coram Deo” series will feel a bit different than traditional Thursday nights with some new and creative elements to services, and with “more rock, less talk.” Come with a spirit of expectation as we prepare to engage in praising God with our worship team as well as with guest artists.

This year’s SWU is going to be our grand finale to our “Stories” series, so Robi Quick is going to share his life story, and we’ll hear other testimonies as well. This year, we’re going deep into a powerful and potentially dangerous message. It’ll be a great night to bring a friend.

Whether you’re a new believer or you’ve known God for years, we all need to be grounded in the essentials of our faith. Sunday classes by Dena Jackson and Jonathan Shea begin April 18th.

Know what you believe. Be brilliant in the basics.

Dr. Bev is the chair of the Psychology Department at William Jessup University, and Brenda Epperson is known as “Ashley” from The Young and the Restless. Brenda is also a recording artist, and has toured with Lionel Richie. Along with John Harris and David Harris, they’re sure to make quite the case for healthy relationships.

We’re thrilled to let you guys know some of the cool stuff going on during the beginning of the new year! We’ll be meeting in room B-121 for the month of January due to midweek events and maintenance going on in the worship center, but we’ll be back to our bigger room in February. Robi Quick is preaching a three week series called “How to Ruin Your Life” in January, where he’ll give us practical advice on how to screw our lives up. February is “Love Month,” our annual relationships series. We’ve got quite the lineup of speakers to be excited about, including chair of the psychology department at William Jessup University, Dr. Bev Wiens, and actress Brenda Epperson. Be on the lookout for plenty of info on our small groups, as there are new groups launching in February. Here’s our schedule of upcoming speakers:

Apple Hill

We’re taking a group of people up to Apple Hill on Saturday, November 14th. We’ll meet at the Bayside crosses at 10am and head up. You’re going to want to pack a lunch or bring some dough to buy some.

Corn Maze

The corn maze trip is now over, but we’ll see you at Apple Hill!
We’re continuing our yearly tradition of getting a ton of people together and hanging out at the Woodland Corn Maze! On October 30th, we’ll meet at the Bayside crosses at 5pm and head down. If you want directions, we’ll post them here soon! **Be sure to bring $10 to get in**
We’ve also got Saturday Nights up and rolling in addition to our weekly Thursday program, so it’s pretty easy to get connected these days. Feel free to drop a comment below or contact us if you have any questions!

We’re are so stoked to tell you that we are starting a Sunday morning class! Dena Jackson, who you’ll be seeing a lot more of, will be teaching this 6 week course called, Apologetics: Defending Your Faith.

Starting July 26th, classes will be in Suite 440 at 9:45am. PLEASE NOTE THAT 440 IS ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE THE CHURCH.

Week 1: Why should I believe there is a God?

Week 4: What about all the other religions? How do you know yours is the right one?

Week 6: Does science conflict with Christianity?
