Going on a short term trip could be one of the most profound experiences of your life. People who have participated over the last five years say they come home inspired with a transformed view of God, themselves and the world.
Throughout the year, Bayside Global Outreach organizes short-term trips to visit Bayside’s ministry partners and aid in the work they’re doing around the world. These trips are 1-2 weeks in length and vary in their goals with each team’s make-up and desire to do ministry. Consider joining one of our teams this year! Your life will never be the same. Learn more about the basics of a short-term trip from the Bayside Short-Term FAQ sheet.

Fighting Against Sex Trafficking with AIM
This trip will rock your world! You’ll be able to serve with AIM in the worst sex trafficked area of children in Cambodia. It’ll break your heart, but you’ll be filled with joy as you share the love of Jesus with these children. You’ll also have an opportunity to teach computer classes, visit families who work as slaves in brick factories, teach basic health care and more. Whether you think you’ve got the skills and experience or not, if you can smile and come prepared to serve, this trip will be one of the greatest things you’ve ever done.

Travel to Colombia, in the northern part of South America, where you’ll serve alongside Bayside’s long-time partners Gary & Mary Lou Sanders and the Covenant Churches of Colombia. In a country devastated by heavy drug cartel operations for so many years, Celebrate Recovery is one of the desperately-needed pieces that our teams bring to Colombia. Our teams also come alongside the thriving churches of Colombia to help with children’s programs, various work projects and leadership development. It truly feels like Bayside of Colombia!
Our Colombian friends will welcome you with open arms and you’ll be changed forever.

In India, you’ll reach the unreached; those who reside where Hinduism permeates their communities and temples are found on nearly every corner. We’ll work with women, children and pastors in places where many have never even heard of Jesus Christ. Teams conduct mini-retreats or day-long programs with dramas, music, Bible stories, arts and crafts. Our goal is simple: be a light. We want to bring a beacon of hope and encouragement to the people of India and to the long-term ministries seeking the lost through church plants and other programs. As part of the 10-40 window, this is a country that desperately needs the love of Jesus. We invite you to be a light in the darkness.

James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
