At Bayside Church, the purpose of our small groups is to get connected to other people, God and the Bible.  Spiritual growth and significant relationships are the blessings that come out of it. No previous Bible knowledge is required.

To get started, please take a moment and go to the right on this page to the ”Search for a Small Group” button. (For more instructions go tServing otherso the “Find A Group” page at the top.) You will find a current list of small groups that have openings.

Bayside’s congregation is made up of all types of wonderful people and our small groups come in all types of wonderful groups. Some discuss the sermon series which tracks along with the weekend message. Others choose a book of the Bible or a “theme study” from the Bible.

Who do you want to be in a group discussion with at this time in your life?  That is an important question. We want our congregation to find the group that is the “right fit” for them.  We invite you to join a small group. It will make “Big Church” small! Bayside Church…it’s smaller than you think.

Starting Point

imagesAll adults are invited to join a new causal, one-night experience or “test-drive” a slice of small group life.  Starting Point is a place to develop friendships with others and explore the dynamics of community, your faith and your next steps. This program promises interesting discussions, lots of laughs and making new Bible connections.

No previous knowledge of the Bible is required and you are not committed to a permanent place in a small group. Starting Point just gives our congregation a chance to try out a Bible study and see if they like it. It also gives potential small group facilitators a chance to lead a discussion and see if it is right for them.  Won’t you join us at the next Starting Point on March 20, 2010? Programs take place 6 times per year and will be listed on the “Events” page.   Online registration is recommended to save your spot.
