A year at Riptide is full of fun, unique events for 7th and 8th graders. We’ve got lots of chances to connect: weekly programs, one-time events, camps and so much more! Cool off from the summer heat with a week of spiritual growth and adventure at Hume Lake. Bust out your afro wigs and bell bottoms for disco roller skating. Grab a friend and check out Vertigo – the most intense, exciting, jam-packed event around. 7th grade boys and girls, get ready for Unshaken and Reckless – a chance to ground your identity in Christ rather than others. 8th graders, dig into God’s “big picture” for your life through our weekend away on Relationships Retreat. And then comes Christmas Riptide-style – get in the spirit with pizza and Buddy the Elf. Come on out and see just how much fun you can have at Riptide!
In Junior High small groups, students will have the opportunity to grow closer to God, get connected to other students, and a build a relationship with a caring adult leader. It’s a place for students to learn how to deal with being a Christian in today’s world through bible study, discussions, laughter and through healthy relationships.
