A year at Riptide is full of fun, unique events for 7th and 8th graders. We’ve got lots of chances to connect: weekly programs, one-time events, camps and so much more! Cool off from the summer heat with a week of spiritual growth and adventure at Hume Lake. Bust out your afro wigs and bell bottoms for disco roller skating. Grab a friend and check out Vertigo – the most intense, exciting, jam-packed event around. 7th grade boys and girls, get ready for Unshaken and Reckless – a chance to ground your identity in Christ rather than others. 8th graders, dig into God’s “big picture” for your life through our weekend away on Relationships Retreat. And then comes Christmas Riptide-style – get in the spirit with pizza and Buddy the Elf. Come on out and see just how much fun you can have at Riptide!
With three chances to grow on the weekends, there’s no reason to miss Riptide! Join us Sundays at 9:45am and 11:30am. Hang out with your friends, play some foosball, praise God in some sweet worship and join in on the discussion through group conversations.
Riptide makes Wednesday nights look good! Connect with each other. Worship God. Get crazy! You’re guaranteed to find games, quirky skits, high-energy music and relevant messages geared towards helping students grow. It’s all about connection with Christ and growth in your relationships. At Riptide, we use all things fun and whacky while helping students live God-honoring lives.

Breakaway is Bayside’s annual summer camp full of recreation activities, teaching, dramas and worship. Hundreds of junior high students converge on Bayside’s campus to be a part of our Student Leadership program. They assist in providing a safe and exhilarating environment where children can begin or develop their relationship with Christ. Riptide students are involved in everything from recreation to leading small groups.
We are adding an additional Junior High Leadership track to Breakaway Games for the week of July 11-15, AM only!
