This fall we’re making history. Be a part of the thousands of Baysiders who are coming together to make a difference in our communities, cities, and throughout our region. Introducing, City Serve: It’s so much more than 200+ community service projects throughout our region.
There are three ways you can be a part of the movement that will impact thousands in the greater Sacramento area.
SERVE our city. CELEBRATE our city. LOVE our city.
SERVE: You can sign up for a “serve project” Sept. 27-28. Serve with your family, friends, or even your small group. This is how we meet the needs of our community in tangible ways. Sign-ups begin August 24.
CELEBRATE: Save the date for an incredible celebration service at Golden1 (Sept. 29 at 10am). Get ready to come together and make a difference. (In fact, this is going to be the very first compassion event, where we're raising money and rallying around causes, at Golden1.)
LOVE: There are four great ministry partners whose work in our city is truly changing lives and shaping Sacramento’s future in inspiring ways. Let’s show our support for Reading Partners, Foster Care/The Church, The Table, and Leataata Flloyd Elementary.
Let’s show the world how we generously give our time, money, and our lives to unleash compassion to a world that desperately needs hope.
We’ve all had moments of need. But we’ve also had moments where someone showed up for us. This is someone who came through for you, loved you, believed in you. Someone just simply showing up can make all the difference. This game-changer can be infectious. It can start a movement.
Let’s be a people who spread hope simply by loving our neighbors as God loves us: generously, and freely.
What if we were mere moments away from changing someone else’s life? What if it was as simple as showing up?
This is our chance to come together and make a difference. Serve projects are our opportunity to be good neighbors not just to each other but to our community, city, region, our world.
All you have to do is show up!
DONATE & SPONSOR: Bayside is partnering with city officials, various school principals and local business leaders, to create a movement of COMPASSION. This year we will be raising funds to support over 250 city projects. Besides serving, one of the many other ways to get involved is through Sponsorships and Donations. CLICK HERE to learn more.
