WHAT TO EXPECT

GROWTH |

During morning and evening sessions students have extended times of singing, dynamic teaching, and opportunities to respond to what God is doing in their lives. They also spend intentional time in their small groups each day to discuss what they are learning and how they are growing.

COMMUNITY |

One of the best parts of camp is the relationships. Your student will spend more time with their small group at camp than they will in a year’s worth of small groups the rest of the year. We know the time spent sharing meals, walking together, and having fun is where the magic of camp happens.

FUN |

Our team competition or “Rec” time allows students to channel their competitive sides and bond with other small groups. Both camps offer tons of activities including high ropes, paintball, archery, and a swimming pool. In addition to those activities, there are also tournaments, contests, trivia, and group games throughout the week to engage all types of students at camp.

HIGH SCHOOL CAMP FAQs

Going to Forest Home allows all Bayside campuses to go to camp together! Forest Home also had better dates available to us. We loved going to Hume and believe that going to Forest Home will maintain the excellence of program, while allowing us to all be together.

Bayside believes that every kid should be able to go to camp.

We ask that pay the $100 deposit and register your student first, then turn in a scholarship request. A student pastor will be in touch about anything we can do to assist you.

You can submit a scholarship request HERE

We use charter buses to travel to and from camp. We will stop for lunch on the way down and the way back.

In the registration there is a spot to request friends and a leader. Small groups are based on grade and gender. Cabins are assigned based on small group. Our student pastors do everything in their power to place students with their friend requests. If your student’s friend is not in the same grade and gender, there is plenty of free time at camp where they will get to spend time together! Please reach out to your campus’ student pastor with additional questions.

Bayside Students Staff as well as Bayside Students small group leaders and Forest Home staff. Bayside Students small group leaders serve as counselors with each small group and Forest Home staff is there to cover all areas.

A safe environment is a prerequisite for everything we want to see God do at camp. Forest Home has a safety team that monitors the camp grounds 24/7. Forest Home is a closed campus while we are there and everyone is required to wear a wristband who is approved to be there.

Medications are collected at check in by our Bayside First Aid team and will be passed off to the Forest Home Health Center when we get to camp. They make sure all students take their required medications at the required time.

Students are allowed to use their cell phone while they are on the bus. We collect their cell phones at the end of the bus ride and keep them while we are at camp. We understand your desire to stay connected with your student and encourage you to communicate with your students’ small group leader during the week for updates on how they are doing. Students will be given their cell phone when they load the bus for the ride home.

At Forest Home all activities are included in the camp cost. The students only need to bring money if they want to purchase stuff at the snack shack, apparel shop. They will also need money for the meal stops to and from camp.

Go HERE to make a payment on your student’s camp balance. If you’re having trouble, reach out to highschool@baysideonline.com.

To cancel, please reach out to highschool@baysideonline.com. The initial deposit is non-refundable. Refundable amount depends on how far out from camp the cancellation is processed.

Detailed communication will be sent to the email address used to register your student(s) as camp approaches. Stay tuned for more information!

MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP FAQs

Bayside Students Staff as well as Bayside Students volunteers all serve at camp in various roles. We bring our own volunteers who serve as counselors for the small groups as well as staff First Aid, Security, Office, Recreation, and Worship/Production.

We use charter buses to travel to and from camp with one quick stop about halfway for students to stretch and enjoy some lunch.
