About The India Ministry

The India Ministry exists to develop impoverished communities of India by enriching children and empowering families  towards holistic transformation.

They work to prevent human trafficking of children in the lowest castes of India. They believe that the solution involves the overall transformation of the culture and communities that accept child trafficking as a normal way of life. Bayside has been partnering with the India Ministry since 2003 and have sent several teams to visit the Bayside sponsored village of Bahman Baratta. 

The India Ministry develops spiritual curriculum for children in sex trafficking villages and equips them to become leaders who break the cycle of bondage. They raise new missionaries to lead village projects, provide access to education for children through tutoring centers, share the gospel in the villages, and protect girls at risk through residential programs.

In July 2021, they opened their first Girl’s Shelter Home welcoming 15 at-risk girls. They all attend a private school, have tutoring, daily devotions and do not have to experience being threatened daily to be sold into trafficking.
